Union's annual "Pumpkinfest Catapult* Competition"
Location: Hunter Farms in Union
Enjoy all things Fall throughout the month of October in Union, then, on Saturday, Oct. 26, at noon (12-2pm) -- look out! Local high school students from Shelton High School, West Sound Tech and Rainier High School will be flinging pumpkins into the air with their very own trebuchets they constructed in school. This year, a new team is joining the fun - a youth group from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Shelton.
Admission: $5 for wagon ride to catapult field and more activities; children 2 and under free.
*The catapult contest is held out in the field, accessible via wagon ride or on foot. The contest is at noon, and lasts about 90 minutes to two hours. Please note that Hunter Farms is open all day - pick out your pumpkin, visit the animal barn, and more. For details, visit www.hunter-farms.com
