We’re so fortunate to have so many incredible museums in Tacoma and the South Sound! Some are “pay as you can,” others are very low-cost, and a few even offer FREE admission on specific days or during certain hours (check our calendar for details). Plus, did you know you can get free museum passes at local libraries? For other museums, admission typically costs up to $10 per person, making these cultural experiences accessible to everyone!

- Play tourist in your own town and visit one of our world-class museums for free this summer. The library has passes to the Washington State History Museum, Tacoma Art Museum, Museum of Glass, and just added new passes to the Foss Waterway Seaport Museum and Lakewold Gardens. All passes circulate for 1 week and make the perfect family activity.
- Check one out with your library card and get free admission for some (or all) of your party. Each pass has different stipulations. The passes are not reservable and are available on a first-come, first served basis.
