HOLIDAY SPECIAL EVENTS Santa Parade Saturday, December 2 | 4:30pm Main Street Auburn's Lighted Santa Parade returns!  From Auburn High School to City Hall, lighted entries will fill Main Street with holiday joy! Beginning at 4:30 PM the parade will feature lighted vehicles, floats, cars, and walking entries. Join us for live music before and after the parade at City Hall. We'll wrap up the event with the annual tree lighting at City Hall plus a visit from Santa. REGISTER NOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PARADE! All community, families, non-profits, and businesses are welcome to participate. All entries wishing to participate in the parade must register in advance by Wednesday, November 29, 2023. All entries must have a lighted element: Registration link Tree Lighting Saturday, December 2 | 5:30pm City Hall Plaza The official Tree Lighter for 2023 has been randomly selected by Mayor Nancy Backus. Gingerbread Contest December 1 - 15 Auburn City Hall FREE - This fun event celebrates the holidays and brings the community together to see what Auburn can build! 15 Gingerbread structures will be on display in the upstairs hallway of Auburn City Hall. Gingerbread Contest Rules (PDF) Festival of Trees November 15 - December 30 White River Valley Museum The White River Valley Museum has your new holiday tradition! November 15th through December 30th, Wednesday through Sundays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., catch the spirit of the season with holiday trees decorated by local businesses and organizations. Sponsored by Explore Auburn Trio of Holiday Crafts Postmark Center for the Arts Two Art Sessions: Saturday, December 2 | 2:00-3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 2 | 3:00-4:00 p.m. Get your craft on prior to Auburn’s Santa Parade festivities with a holiday trio of arts and crafts! The Postmark will be offering two Holiday Arts Activity workshop sessions! Register to create up to three art projects at the Postmark Center for the Arts: Reindeer Handprint Ornaments; Pop-up Christmas Card; 3D Snowflakes. Registration fee: $5/per person Sunday, December 3 | 2pm Red, White & Blue Holiday Concert Auburn Performing Arts Center, 702 4th St. NE Sing in the holidays with this annual free community concert performed by the America's First Corps Army Band. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear this festive and rousing concert presented by the Army’s best! Enjoy all of your favorite holiday music and carols. Tickets are free but required for admission and will be available for pick-up beginning November 1 at the Auburn Community & Event Center. or can be reserved online. Limit 6 per family.

Thursday, December 7 | 7pm An Inspirational Christmas With Elvis Green River College – Cascade Hall | 12401 SE 320th Street As a child, Danny Vernon noticed that Elvis Presley's voice, soul and presence would cut through even the deepest of scratches on his father’s RCA records. Danny Vernon began singing along with those albums at a very early age. Unaware of Presley's vast impact in American culture, but with a devout passion, Danny would sing and dance along to the King's music, trusting that one day he would be recapturing the magic with his own Illusion of Elvis show on stage.
