When school is out, come to your local Metro Parks Tacoma indoor pool for free recreational swimming hours. Join us at one of our indoor pool locations on specific dates throughout the year for fun-filled water activities for your kids to enjoy while school is not in session.
Note: pools are limited capacity.

- Day Before Thanksgiving, Nov 22, 2023

- President’s Day, Feb 19, 2024
- TPS Data Day, Feb 20, 2024
- Recreational Swim Times will also be available during Winter and Spring Break.
Children ages 6 and younger (and those older who cannot meet the minimum height requirement 42″), must be within arms length of an adult at all times while in the pool.
- Maximum of two children ages 6 and younger per adult.
- Children ages 9 and younger must be accompanied by an adult at pool facilities.
- Children between the ages of 7-9 will be swim tested in order to swim without a parent being in the water with them.
