Tacoma’s ultimate family 4th is back! After two years without a city-wide celebration, we’re excited to announce that fireworks are back on the Ruston Way Waterfront.
Come out to Cummings Park and the Cambia Legacy Lawn at Dune Peninsula for live music, food trucks, a craft market, fireworks and more!

The Emerald Queen Casino Fireworks Show
- Sponsored by EQC
- Presented by the City of Tacoma and Metro Parks Tacoma
- Firework display on Commencement Bay to take place at 10 pm. It will be visible along all of Ruston Way!
Road Closures
- Ruston Way closed from 7 am to midnight on Monday, July 4th between Alder Street and North 49th Street.
- Yacht Club Road closed from 7 am to midnight on Monday, July 4th between Ruston Way and Grand Loop.
- The public should expect heavy traffic and delays around the closures.
