Like the children’s daisy game “She loves me, She loves me not,” this award asks parents to PICK the best of the best. Macaroni Kid's Gold Daisy Awards recognize the most beloved local businesses for kids and families.
Who do parents turn to when they want to find the best places to go or the best doctors or the best story times? Other parents! We want YOU to nominate the businesses that your kids and your family love in Tacoma, Fircrest, Fife and all communities in between.
How Do You Get Started?
From now through February 22, 2016, simply nominate your favorite businesses! Nominate as many or as few businesses as you would like. This is your chance to shout out to all of those awesome, local businesses you go to all the time and that other parents might not know about. Only one submission per email address please; you must be a subscriber to the newsletter to nominate. You can subscribe here.

What's In It For The Businesses?
We will announce the finalists and winners of each category in upcoming issues. The winning business in each category will receive free placement in our Business Directory for yearlong recognition, a 2016 Macaroni Kid Gold Daisy Awards certificate and window cling to display at their place of business, and the honor of knowing that local families think they are the greatest!

Only one nomination per email address.

To nominate a business you must be a Macaroni Kid Tacoma email subscriber, to sign up click here.

Votes with fake email addresses will not count and may disqualify the nominee from winning. It is against policy to place a vote using any email other than your own.

Only the top 5 nominations in each category will be selected for voting.

Macaroni Kid families will then vote on their favorites and one winner in each category will be selected.
