This annual Thanksgiving Day event features a 5k run, 2 mile walk, a Kid's dash (ages 3-8) and a Wheelchair Division.  Before you gobble your Thanksgiving Feast, bring your friends and family to run, walk or wobble in the 15th annual Turkey Trot. Funny Fruit

  1. Melt white chocolate in a double boiler. Leave half untinted. To remainder, add 3 drops orange and 1 drop yellow gel-paste food coloring.
  2. Dip Seckel pears in untinted chocolate and Lady apples in orange chocolate. Refrigerate on a parchment-lined baking sheet until set, 20 minutes.
  3. Microwave semisweet chocolate at 50 percent power, stirring, until melted but not hot.
  4. Transfer to a plastic bag, and snip off corner.
  5. Draw faces onto white-chocolate-dipped fruit; refrigerate until set, 10 minutes.

The treats are best eaten the day they're made.
